RAISE RIGHT AND BIRTHDAY BUCKS
As we begin a new calendar year, we will again be asking The Woman’s Club of Vista members to consider participating in our two simple fund-raising programs.
Even with the minimal participation of less than a quarter of our members in the RaiseRight program, we managed to bring in approximately $1700 dollars in 2025! As some members sign on to the program, it does my heart good to hear the comment, “I did not realize it was so EASY!!” And it really is!! I take it personally that more of our members have not joined to support the service club they joined to support!! How crazy is that? Please, consider asking me to explain the program and gain a clearer understanding of how it works.
Birthday Bucks is a voluntary fund-raising program structured to honor yourselves at the time of your birthday by donating to the Club with an amount equal to your birthday age. We began the program in August and have brought in almost $900! When donating your Birthday Bucks please designate Day or Night meeting groups as operational support.
Both of these programs help support The WCV without putting additional strains on our invested monies allowing us to provide the scholarships and donations to other non-profits annually. By bringing in operational income The WCV can provide this support for many years to come! Thanks for all you do to support our Club and let’s see if we can do more in 2026!
