The November Book Club welcomed Garry Garretson, President of the
San Diego County Veteran’s Writing Group.
In November, members read a compilation of short stories written by veterans entitled Away For The Holidays. The stories were written by veterans from World War II through Afghanistan about their experiences being away from home during the holidays while serving their country.
