Last month, WCV members joined the evening meeting to hear Sheriff George Hernandez speak about the Blue Envelope program as well as other programs offered by the Sheriff’s Station to support the safety of Vista residents. At last week’s board meeting the group unanimously voted to participate in the National Night Out, an annual event that promotes law enforcement-community partnership and neighborhood camaraderie. The WCV@Night group also made goodies for special needs teachers to acknowledge their hard work.
