Twelve volunteers worked an afternoon shift at the North County Food Bank Warehouse on Saturday, June 7, 2025. It was our third time in the last year volunteering as a group. This time, we had a new task: sorting produce. Volunteers checked and bagged onions and potatoes. At the end of the 2-hours shift, our group and other volunteers processed 4550 pounds of produce to help families with food insecurity. Sandi, Sylvia, Liz, Sara, Veronica, Maria, Joy, Meg, Holly, Toni and her partner Don, and Donna W comprised our group.
