Did you know the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) has a Signature Program: Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention? The goal of the GFWC Signature Program is to increase awareness of and help prevent the widespread occurrence of domestic and sexual violence abuse in communities across the nation.
The Soroptimist International Vista and North County Inland is inviting the community to their next Anti-Human Trafficking Collaborative Meeting on Thursday, October 3rd at 9 a.m in the upper level of the community/social room at United Methodist Church in Vista. Penny Harrington, a policy analyst, who tracks legislation for several coalitions will speak about “Influencing the Legislative Process” and how we can take part. RSVP by September 25th. Coffee and refreshments will be provided for this free event. I hope to see you there!
