My theme this year reflects the image of the hummingbird – “Grace in Motion, Power In Flight,” let’s all be like lovely hummingbirds – beautiful to look at and a powerful force when we join together!
Registration Fee Increase. We have entered into two new contracts with Shadowridge Golf Club that will enable us to continue meeting there for both our Day and Night Meetings. Unfortunately, like everything else, the new contracts include an increase in the price of our meeting rooms and menus. Effective in September, we are asking members to pay a registration fee for the Day Meeting of $27, and effective this month (June) the Evening meeting registration fee will increase to $27. The price increase will allow us to continue to meet at Shadowridge and to enjoy all of the amenities of this great location.
As your incoming President, I am excited to introduce some new non-profit organizations that can use our “hands-on” help. Please say “yes I will” if you’re asked to join a team. Our Club has doubled in size since I joined in 2022! So many lovely ladies and so much talent! Don’t forget you have 6 opportunities to stay connected over summer – Friendraisers lunches, Book Club, WCV Crafts, WCV Walks, WCV @ Night Meetings. Our Day meeting will not meet in July and August but your hard-working Board will continue to meet over Summer to plan a great year ahead!
