The Education and Libraries Committee is excited to have taken on a project we are calling “Bubbles and Books,” where we are installing small bookshelves loaded with kids’ books in local laundromats. Our first laundromat is the EZ Express Laundry on North Santa Fe Ave, next door to Pizza & More. With the help of committee members, we have a bookshelf and a good collection of kids’ books. We will be installing our first bookshelf next week. We’d like to ask the membership for more donations of kids’ books in English and Spanish. In addition, if anyone knows the owners or managers of other Vista laundromats, please tell them about the program. We’d love to spread the program to all the laundromats in Vista
