Bylaws
The Bylaws Committee will be convening on August 21st at 10AM at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens to review and update our current Bylaws and Standing rules. I would appreciate it if everyone would review the Bylaws and Standing rules in your current Yearbook and send any suggested revisions to me prior to that date.
Once the committee has completed their task they will publish the results in an email to all members for you to read and ask questions.
At the 1st in person meeting of the club in September, the Bylaws and Standing rules will again be reviewed and questions will be allowed. If there are no additional questions at that time, or if all questions are resolved, those Bylaws and Standing rules will be voted on and will go into effect immediately.
FYI: The difference between a Bylaw and a Standing Rule:
A Bylaw gives the basic structure of the club, i.e., Membership, Board, Meetings.
A Standing Rule tells you when and how many.
