My theme this year reflects the image of the hummingbird – “Grace in Motion, Power In Flight,” let’s all be like lovely hummingbirds – beautiful to look at and a powerful force when we join together!
Stay connected with the Club over summer – we have lots of ways to stay in touch! This month our Social Chairman, Kati Mendoza has come up with the perfect way for us to visit the S D County Fair – by train and shuttle to the fair by bus. Info is below. Volunteer activities will continue to be posted via email. The Book Club will continue to meet at Rancho Grande El Toro Restaurant and Friendraisers will also continue to meet on the first Friday of the month. WCV at Night does not have a location to meet for July and August – we will send out an email blast when we know more. Shadowridge Golf Club is raising their price per person by another $3 – do we want to continue to meet there? There will be changes coming but change is good – input from the members is welcome. All are welcome at our Planning Meeting on July 1st – we will determine our programs for the following club year.
