WCV @ Night held its first showcase for our members who have their own businesses. Presentations were made by Kati Mendoza (real estate), Lisa DeJesus (ADU development), Raschel Kloos (assistance for seniors considering downsizing, reverse mortgages, social security planning and yoga therapy), Veronica Vasquez (jewelry business), Sonja Hults (technology classes and individual help with computer issues), Donna Weber (Kindness project and essential oils) and Alana O’Neal (travel agent and cruise expert). The presenters had the opportunity to tell the members about their businesses and what drew them to their particular fields. We had a table for displaying “swag” from each of the businesses for the members to take home with them for future reference. Veronica brought some of her beautiful jewelry and even made a few sales! Christina Cleary suggested a Travel Section after hearing from Alana O’Neal. A WCV cruise for our members may be in our future! The meeting was a great networking opportunity for the members and another fun way to become better acquainted with our club sisters – I’m sure we will do it again!
