January is such an important month for our clubs and not just because we turn in our narratives this month. It is important because we VOTE for our next Palomar District Board of Directors at the January 27th District Board of Director’s meeting hosted by the Woman’s Club of Poway.
The slate of officers who have volunteered to be placed on the ballot are:

2nd VP Membership Bev York
3rd VP Programs Leslie Moseley
4th VP Fundraising Pam Hermansader
Secretary Linda Tucker
Treasurer Carole May
Assistant Treasurer Rosalia Zamora
This does not mean that someone else cannot choose to run from the floor and still be placed on the ballot on the day of the election. However, the person nominating them must have their consent and they must have a letter of endorsement from their clubs given to the Nominating Committee Chairman.
If you support someone on the slate it is important that you be in the seats to VOTE! Your choices do not get elected just because you think the vote will go their way. Many elections have been lost because someone “thought” they would win!
