January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month! There are two opportunities available to learn more about this serious issue:
Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 9 am to 12 noon, grab your Woman’s Club T-shirt and join The Woman’s Club of Vista team at the 20th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Event & Walk at United Methodist Church of Vista. We will meet in the Community Room, Upper Level at 490 S. Melrose Drive in Vista. Registration, Info Tables, Guest Speakers are from 9 am – 10:30 am. Roundtrip 1 – 1/2 mile walk starts approximately at 10:30 am. Please let Donna Weber know if you will be attending.
Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 3:30 – 5:30 pm, view The Journey, a compelling and heartwarming documentary about 3 survivors of sex trafficking at One Safe Place. Screenings are free, but registration is required. Contact Donna Weber for information.
