Thirteen WCV volunteers came to the new location for the Jacob Cushman Food Bank to pack bags of nourishing snacks and other items for food insecure elementary school students to bring home with them for the weekend. This time we were filling back packs for the Fallbrook school district. The 2 hours went by fast and it’s always fun to chat and to get to know each other better. Judy Stevens brought in reindeer headbands and Santa hats to add to the holiday spirit. Working together at the food bank is a perfect way to combine WCV’s mission to provide service to our community and to have a good time doing it!
