The Woman’s Club of Vista held its New Member Orientation on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista. Six Board members and 22 new members attended the event, which started off with an ice-breaker game to get everyone acquainted, followed by presentations by Board members. Subjects included an explanation of the various levels of Federation, the benefits and requirements of membership, and the Chairmen of GFWC Special and Community Service Programs.

Members also learned about the WCV website and how to enter volunteer hours online. The functions of various committees were explained, and new members were encouraged to get involved in areas that interested them. Social events include WCV Crafts, WCV Book Club, WCV@Night evening meetings, WCV Walks, and Friendraisers lunches. Hot chocolate and cookies provided by Shadowridge added a sweet note to a fun and informative meeting!
