Palomar District logo - Flower petalsAs your Dean, (1st VP, Liz Franciscus), it is my job to keep our members apprised of events and activities going on in the Palomar District. Our new President, Sherry Lutes, has an exciting year planned for us!

Thanks to our members who traveled to Julian to attend the Sunflower Tea. It was a fantastic event, so much fun and the food catered by the Julian Tea and Cottage Arts was so delicious! A special thank you to Donna Weber who volunteered her time to help set up and take down all of the trappings. Very much appreciated!

For our second District Fundraiser, we are having a Bakeless Bake Sale to raise funds for the district. It’s a simple way to support the District by mailing a check in the amount it would have cost you to bake a cake or cookies – without the effort of doing it! All of the information is included in the flyer below.

Save Your Gently Used Paperback Books

Our new District President Sherry Lutes has asked us to save our gently used paperback books to be donated to Veterans Hospitals, Wounded Warrior Programs, and USO Centers. More Information on this later.

All members are encouraged to read the District Newsletter “The Telescope” which is published four times a year and sent out via email.
