My theme this year reflects the image of the hummingbird – “Grace in Motion, Power In Flight,” let’s all be like lovely hummingbirds – beautiful to look at and a powerful force when we join together!
May is the last month of our term – I can’t believe how fast the year has gone! Thank you to all of the members who have renewed their membership! A survey will be going out this month to help the planning committee put together programs that align with our members’ goals and interests. The planning committee meets in early July and I need your input ahead of time. I appreciate you taking the time to give me your thoughts and suggestions on how to increase member participation and to attract new members to both our day and night meetings.
Don’t miss our Donation Day and Scholarship Reception on May 13th. This is in lieu of our regular monthly day meeting. No charge to attend – just bring 1 dozen cookies, bars or mini cupcakes. We are expecting a crowd so come early to help set up and to greet our guests.
I am proud to say that the Woman’s Club of Vista won First Place in the Palomar District for our newsletter! Thank you to all who contribute every month! If you are interested in learning and helping put the newsletter together – please let me know! It takes a village to do it!
