It was a beautiful day for our first meeting in 2026 and a great day to recommit to the Woman’s Club of Vista. We welcomed our speaker, Jessica Elliott, Executive Director of Alabaster Jar Project, a local non profit dedicated to empowering human trafficking survivors. Such a compelling subject – we hung on every word! It was also a day to say farewell to our good friend Nancy Ellis who is moving to Ventura to be with her family. We surprised her when her longtime friend Betsey Heightman, from the Vista Community Clinic joined us. Nancy was touched by such a warm send off and we will miss her. The meeting was topped off by a silly White Elephant exchange which brought fun and laughter. Another great start to our WCV year!
