My theme this year reflects the image of the hummingbird – “Grace in Motion, Power In Flight,” let’s all be like lovely hummingbirds – beautiful to look at and a powerful force when we join together!
Did you sing Auld Lang Syne this New Year’s Eve? Did you ever wonder what it means or why we sing it at the New Year? The heart of the song encourages people to: Cherish old friendships, Remember shared experiences, both good and hard, and reconnect, even if time or distance has passed. It’s about looking back with gratitude while moving forward together. What resonated with me is the recollection of our shared experiences, reconnecting with our club sisters, and moving our club forward in an exciting direction. As always, our mission is to help those in our community who need it the most. The goal in 2026 is to continue to engage in those projects and events that have been the most successful while exploring new ideas and opportunities to keep our current members involved as well as to attract new members to join us. I can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together in the new year!
IMPORTANT!!! We have just received an email from Shadowridge Golf Club. They have made a new “corporate decision” requiring us to provide our meal choices to them 14 days before the meeting – before it was 7 days. Please register for either the Day or Night meetings as quickly as possible so that we can meet this new deadline! Thank you!
