On July 26th our group enjoyed perfect weather and beautiful nature at Discovery Lake in San Marcos. Judy S., Kati, Linda and Nancy B discovered that the path around the lake and down the hill a bit was a walkable distance. We loved the chance to get to know our newest member Judy – a walk and a chat with new friends is always welcome! Entertainment was provided by Charlie (he’s the cute almost-4-year old) who loved walking the drainage gutters, crunching leaves, and collecting sticks, seeds, and pinecones. One disappointment – we found no water running in the creek. But we were the happy recipients of a double-round of hugs that our little guy gave his new lady friends!
