We had a delightful time on our May 24th walk at Buena Vista Park—affectionately known by locals as the Duck Pond. Seven wonderful women and two adorable pups, Sunny and Bonnie, joined us for a peaceful morning stroll filled with nature, friendship, and discovery.

The morning welcomed us with a refreshing cool breeze, and by mid-walk, the sun peeked through to brighten our path. Along the way, we were treated to sightings of ducks, lively Acorn woodpeckers, and the elegant Black-crowned night herons.

Veronica shared one of her favorite trees with the group, while Liz made a charming discovery—a cozy little bird’s nest tucked away in the branches. Between the wildlife, the beauty of the park, and the great conversations shared, it was truly a morning well spent.

Thank you Rebecca, Joy, Liz, Veronica, Linda, Meg, and Tenaya for making this such a fun and memorable morning!

We’re already looking forward to our next adventure—come join us and experience nature with us!
