Eight of us had the honor of working a 2-hour shift at North County Food Bank on a Thursday evening. We packed over 400 bags of food for school children in four schools. The children take the bags home on Friday so they don’t go hungry over the weekend when they don’t have access to a school meal like they do during the week.
