On February 22, 14 WCV members met at the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens. Nancy (Farmer) Jones led our group and showed us the beautiful gardens in the warm and sunny weather. The group enjoyed seeing the Children’s Garden, Zen Rock Meditation Space, Composting/wormery and a very old Cycad. We had a true insider’s tour of the gardens.
Next month’s walk will be at the Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad at 7380 Gabbiano Lane. It is a flat terrain walk and perfect for all fitness levels. Please note that our walk is for Saturday, March 22nd and will start at 9:00am. Please email Kaley at kaleym@thewomansclubofvista.org to sign up.
