November 2024 Day Meeting
For our November meeting, we will honor veterans. Our speaker is Leisa Grajek of K-9 Guardians. RSVPs are due by November 6, 2024. Guests are required to pay in advance.
Meeting details: Registration and informal networking is from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM; the meeting starts promptly at 10 AM. Lunch choices can be selected after paying or RSVPing online. Choice #1: Classic Caesar: Grilled Chicken, Parmesan, Herbed Croutons, Caesar Dressing. Choice #2 Club Sandwich: Turkey, Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon, Mayonnaise, White Bread. Choice #3: Chicken Caesar Wrap: Grilled Chicken, Shredded Lettuce, Parmesan, Caesar Dressing.
About the Program:
K-9 Guardians raises and trains German shepherd dogs as service dogs for veterans with service-related disabilities including PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Leisa is a San Diego native who developed her love for dogs and all animals at a very early age. Her family has a very long line of military service including her father who served in Vietnam. It was her love of the military’s service men and women along with her love of dogs that prompted her to start K-9 Guardians in 2015. K-9 Guardians is a non-profit 501c (3) located in Fallbrook.
