Environment

WCV supports environmental causes primarily through membership and support of Alta Vista Botanical Gardens. A few members contribute substantial time to the organization, including the running for 17 years of the monthly instructional Kids in the Garden event. The club also holds board and committee meetings at the location in additional to its Donation Day event. At AVBG’s Fall Fun Festival, WCV staffs a table about the club and decorates a scarecrow. In the Spring, WCV staffs a table for AVBG’s Earth Day Festival.
